Hi.

I've offered 3 nights to translate the whole program to Swedish, and tonight we tested to send our firts newsletters.
First, we added 5 of our own adresses (hotmail, own domain and our work-adresses) and sent newsletters. All worked fins.
Then we imported all our customers adresses (in all 54) and sent our first real newsletter to customers. BUT - the sending report told ut that the newsletter was sent only to 13 recipients!

I ll try to help you but i need more information about your server ?
Php mail ? SMTP ? PHP version ? Linux or windows ? Shared or dedicated server ?

...hum... i think you're on windows, aren't you ?
if it is, you should modify your php.ini like that :

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = your smtp (local ?)
smtp_port = 25

; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = your_sender_adress@forlosa.se

you're on line, perfect !
i think you've a quota on your server (shared ?), or by the company where you've your server. (name of your presta ? lws ? 1and1 ? ovh ?...) I'll search or have a contact with them, and will look if you can work with a local smtp

Sure, I may use smtp, but I'm not sure how to find all parameters...

one.com have a common smtp-server: send.one.com, but I don't know how o log in to it to send emails...

OK, i'm back, sorry for long time...
The correct config seems to be :

host : mailout.one.com
authentication : false

but sender MUST be something@forlosa.se

I have deleted all files and uploaded a clean copy from the zip-archive. The database tables is the same as before, because of the email adresses and the copy of the sent newsletter.

But when I run the iunstall.php I get this message:

For this, it was, because your IE kept the phpmynewsletter password, and put it instead of database password when the form was send.

Did you change prefix for table ?
And i think you did an error writing localhost or something else...

Now, when I reset all and run install.php again I get it to work. I choose the SMTP and mailout.one.com, and it seems to send to all recipients. I will be sure when I send the next newsletter in about a month or two.
